Why here
We're a team headquartered in Konstanz, spread across Germany with a focus in Berlin. We work on plants that really exist: wind farms, train fleets, battery storage, rolling mills, gas turbines. The data that arises there is usually already available — only in many systems, in many formats, and nowhere brought together. Our work starts at that point and stops only when someone in operation reads an answer out of it.
That means two things for the work itself. You see the plant you are writing about: we travel there, and you come along. And you stay with one thing long enough to finish it. Projects here run over months, not weeks, and what gets built also gets operated.
We specialise in getting availability and yield out of these plants: fewer unplanned outages, better maintenance, more from what's already standing.

How we work
-
We put our hands on the hardware we talk about
Telemetry data does not begin in the data warehouse, it begins at the sensor. That is why there are boards, meters and tape lying between the laptops. Anyone designing a pipeline here has seen what hangs on the other end of it first.
-
The coffee break is part of the work
The kitchen is the second meeting room. A good deal of what would otherwise have needed a calendar slot is settled there in ten minutes — over a pot of coffee and with no agenda.
-
Two people at one screen is not an hour lost
Here you pull someone in rather than grinding through it alone — and it makes no difference who has been around longer. Questions cost minutes, wrong assumptions cost weeks.

Data Engineer (m/w/d)
You build the routes along which plant data arrives: connection, modelling, quality assurance. Without that foundation, every analysis on top of it is guesswork.

Nothing that fits? Write to us anyway. We read every speculative application and answer even when we have nothing to fill right now.
